MOE Volleyball Court 1 & 2

👥 Participation & Eligibility

  • Each team must register 6–12 players.
  • On-court requirements:
    • Minimum 2 female players on court at all times.
  • Unlimited substitutions are allowed.

👕 Team Uniform

Teams are encouraged to wear the same colour for easy identification.

🏐 Competition Format

  • Matches are played to 25 points, but if the score reaches deuce, play continues to 28 points maximum.
  • Teams that are resting may help with ball retrieval to ensure the game runs smoothly.
  • The net height is 2.38 m (mixed-game height).
  • Prior to the start of each match, the captains will decide court side and first serve by playing rock–paper–scissors

📊 Ranking of Teams

  1. Total Points
    • Win: 3 points
    • Loss: 0 points
  2. Tie-Break Criteria for Team Rank
    • a. Score Difference

      Calculated as Score For – Score Against. Higher score difference ranks higher.

    • b. Points Against

      If score difference is the same, the team that concedes fewer points ranks higher.

Example:

Team A: 112 scored, 75 conceded → +37

Team B: 118 scored, 98 conceded → +20

👉 Team A ranks higher.
